Sub-section Two: The terminological meaning of “Da‘wah”:

It is an attempt on the part of the Da‘i to Allah to bring about a drastic balanced change in the life of others through urging them to be loyal to the duties enjoined on them by Shai‘ah to please Allah (SWT) and win What He keeps for His righteous slaves in the Hereafter.[1]

The author of “Khasa’is al-Da‘wah al-Islamiyyah” defines it as “Conveying to all people the call to Islam and guide them to it verbally and practically at all times and places through special means and methods that are appropriate for those summoned of all kinds and at all eras.”[2]
