Fitrah is in harmony with the teachings of Islam:

The Doctrine of Islam does not conflict with the fitrah but it perfectly agrees and harmonizes with it. Allah (SWT) says: “Therefore, you shall devote yourself to the religion of strict monotheism. Such is the fitrah (innate inclination to monotheism) that Allah has placed into people.” (XXX: 30) The Prophet (peace be upon him) says: “Every child is born with fitrah (innate inclination to monotheism) but its parents may make him a Jew, a Christian or a Zoroastrian.”[1]

“Islam is the fitrah that Allah has placed into people. It does not require the influence of the parents. In contrast, the other religions, such as Judaism, Christianity and Zoroastrianism are taught and inculcated by the parents.”[2] So the fitrah (innate inclination to monotheism) that Allah (SWT) has implanted in all humans does not conflict with Islam but harmonizes with it because it is Allah’s religion that he has chosen for his servants.
