The Correspondence of the Christian Doctrine of Trinity with Most of the Ancient Pagan Religions: “One who studies Christian Doctrines will find them identical with most of the ancient pagan religions, and we can hardly find major differences apart from simple ones in name and shape only.”[1] The Trinity of Ancient Egyptians consists of Osiris, the father god, Isis, the mother god and Horus, the son god. This Trinity was worshipped in the Divinity of the Sun’s Eye. The Brahamnic Trinity in India, which consists of three entities: (Brahma—Vishnu—Shiva), three persons in one: The Lord: Brahma; the creator or savior: Vishnu; the destroyer: Siva. A Buddhist trinity spreading in India, China and Japan represents the god “Vu”. The Roman trinity consists of Allah—the word—the spirit.[2] So, the Christian Doctrine of Trinity is no more than a pagan thought embedded in the ancient pagan religions. |
