Section Nine: the Law in the Gospels:The law brought by Christianity is meager and does not cover even some of the main aspects of life. It is insufficient in all its branches. If you search in the four authorized Gospels, you will find them almost void of any legislation. In Matthew, Christ says: “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.”[1] Therefore, Christianity has to take all its laws from the Old Testament (the Torah). This is why the church prints the Holy Book in one volume containing both the Old Testament and the New Testament.”[2] |
