Jesus (peace be upon him) says in the Gospel: “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”[1] So, this is an invitation to know the truth. So, let us find out the truth.
“The New Testament” is the Holy Scripture of the Christians exclusively, and because of the sequence of Prophethood, they add to it he books of the “Old Testament” to form with the New Testament the Christian Holy Book. The term “gospels” is used figuratively to call the first four books of the New Testament, and they are the books attributed to Matthew, Mark, John and Luke.[2] |
