The Holy Spirit in the New Testament:

1.     The Holy Spirit is a gift from Allah, Who gives it to whoever ask Him. In Luke we read: “how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? [1]

2.     The Holy Ghost is a description of the New Comforter: “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost…”[2]

3.      “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost.”[3]

4.     ‘But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.”[4]

5.     “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you?”[5]

So the pious are the temple of the Holy Ghost. Are these texts not sufficient to remove the ambiguity and solve the problem?
