None of the Prophets mentioned the inheritance of the sin:

None of the previous Prophets mentioned Adam’s sin and its inheritance. No Prophet ever asked Allah (SWT) to forgive him the sin he was supposed to have inherited from Adam. Why is it then attributed to Jesus (peace be upon him) exclusively?

The answer is that it is not a doctrine revealed by Allah. It was borrowed from heathen doctrines, for “whatever is said or heard about Jesus, the sin, crucifixion, salvation and redemption are found in the ancient Indian religions. The Indians said this about “Vishnu”, “Brahma”, and “Krishna”; Buddhists said it about “Buddha”; Egyptians, Persians and Greeks said it about their ancient gods also. Indians believe that born “Krishna” is the god Vishnu himself, who has no beginning or end. He moved mercifully to save man through offering himself as a sacrifice for him. Following is a Hindu supplication they use: “I am a sinner, committer of guilt and of evil nature. My mother conceived me through a sin; therefore, grant me salvation, O Owner of the …. Eye, O Savoir of sinners from their misdeeds and sins!”   [1]

So, ancient heathen religions are the source of this doctrine of Christians; therefore the conversion of the followers of these heathen religions has been easy because of the close similarity between these doctrines and those of Christianity.

Islamic doctrines reject these false Christian doctrines and the Holy Qur’an is clear in denying the allegation of the Crucifixion decisively. Allah (SWT) says: “And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah's messenger—they slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! Those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain   Instead, GOD raised him to Him; GOD is Almighty, Most Wise.” (IV: 157-158) If the Holy Qur’an had been from other than Allah, and it was a human being that had falsely claimed that Allah had sent him revelation, would it not have been more convenient and easier for him, in order to promote his mission, to agree to the notion of the crucifixion of Christ, for it was popular and known amongst people, in which case he would have attracted the Christians to him and would have spared himself the problems and obstacles that prevented them from accepting Islam.”[2] But the Holy Qur’an is preserved as it was revealed by Allah, for Allah (SWT) promised to preserve it and keep it intact. Allah (SWT) says: “If it had been from other than Allah they would have found therein much incongruity.” (IV: 82) The Qur’an does not have a single discrepancy or contradiction, in contrast to the Torah and the Gospel, which are replete with discrepancies and contradictions and mundane doctrines that have been inserted in them to corrupt them. The evidence and proofs they present are weak, invalid and contradictory. If they should claim otherwise, we say to them what Allah (SWT) has said: “Show me your proof, if you are truthful." (XXVII: 64) But you will find their evidence and proofs valueless and illogical, for how does Allah (SWT) forbid the shedding of the blood of human beings and meanwhile send His son to let human beings shed his blood. How does Allah forgive a sin through a greater and worse sin? The notion disagrees with the principle of punishment and reward: “The soul that sinneth, it shall die”[3] and not any other soul. Salvation through Crucifixion contradicts the doctrine of Christians of believing in the existence of the Fire on the Day of Resurrection.[4]

If Christ had come to free humanity from a sin they had not committed, then the Jews, the Roman soldiers and Judas the Iscariot (the person who betrayed him) would have been the most obedient among people to Allah, for they had sought to execute His Will to bring about the Crucifixion. Otherwise, the Crucifixion would have been a greater and more abominable sin than that of Adam (peace be upon him).

Here I would like to say that Pope John has recently declared the innocence of the Jews from killing Christ (peace be upon him) in order to bring Jews and Christians close together. This is nothing but new corruption effected these days. How easy it is for Christians to annul doctrines!

Christians believe that “Crucifixion was the lot of the portion of the body Jesus inherited from Adam, whereas the divine portion was not affected by it. To believe differently is regarded as a heresy by them. If this were true ……..[5]

Christians mislead themselves and others by this doctrine, which claims that people are perishable because of shouldering the sin of Adam since their birth and nothing would free them from this save the belief that Christ has come just to free them from the sin that overburdened them and would lead them to the Fire. Therefore, they have to believe in the idea of salvation to have all their sins forgiven.

T. E. Abrigo says: “I believed that no other doctrine on earth ensures salvation for humanity as Christianity has done.[6] But then I have realized that Christianity is magnificent in appearance and valueless in essence.”[7]
