Third Section: The refutation of the Doctrine of Trinity:
“Christian trinity wavers between monotheism and polytheism. They say that Allah is one in three or three in one, as if they did not know whether He is one or three. How can one be in three or three in one?”[1] About this meaning they philosophize giving awkward answers and most of them are not convinced of what they say. If you ask one of them whether he worships One god or several gods, he will say: “I worship One god and believe in One god because the Christian code says we believe in One god.”
If you ask him who that One god is, he will say: “Allah (the father) +Allah (the son) + Allah (the Holy Spirit or Ghost).” Say to him: “How? These are three and you say you worship One god.” He will say: “They are three but constitute One.”
Then say to him: “This means 1 + 1 + 1 =1.” He will say: “It is so.”
Say to him: “Where among the laws of mathematics can we find such equation? If we were to summon all mathematicians along with Einstein, none of them would get but zero, should they were examined to find a solution to these riddles and mazes.[2] How can we then expect laymen to understand this equation? If this doctrine is incomprehensible to philosophers how can ordinary people understand it? So I adjure you to tell me for whom has this doctrine been revealed and for what purpose?” He will say: “This doctrine has been sent to all people, but it is difficult to understand as it is one of the secrets of the Church.” This will be the final answer when somebody cannot convince others or even convince his own self. |
